Fairtrade Impact at Mungania

Fairtrade has significantly improved the wellbeing of our farmers and the wider community through impactful projects funded by Fairtrade premiums. The Mungania Fairtrade Organization is guided by a Premium Committee of 13 elected members, representing different catchment areas and ensuring inclusive decision-making.

The Annual General Assembly (AGA) serves as the supreme decision-making body, where farmers review performance, approve projects, and set development priorities. To date, the organization has successfully implemented 14 projects addressing key areas such as social amenities, infrastructure, education, agricultural diversification, environmental conservation, and health improvement.
